Steph back again today! Hope you're enjoying your Friday!!
Angelica pretty much hit the nail on the head on Tuesday when she was describing how summer kind of sweeps you away sometimes and doesn't leave very much time for crafty stuff! I have literally been swept away for the past month visiting family and spending some much needed quality time with my hubby before school starts and my husband leaves for a deployment. My craft "space" has definitely been neglected lately!
I did grab some time last week to whip up a few cards and I was seriously in summertime mode! I pulled out my Chillaxin set and went to town! I LOVE the sweet images and sentiments in this set and showcased them here in this fun card!
I had a blast coloring that super sweet palm tree! I paired it with some patterned paper "sand" (Distressed Dots from PTI) and a splash of bright color (some Summer Sunrise satin ribbon)! I love to add just a bit of brightness to a card that has a lot of earthy colors- it's one of my favorite ways to play with color!
Hope you like my cards this week- stay tuned for more Senior DT announcements throughout the month of July! The next announcement will come on Tuesday night!

This is absolutely perfect! I adore the dots as sand and that big orange bow is the perfect finishing touch. Lovely as always Steph!
