Guest Designer :: Jen Wills

Happy Friday!

We are very excited to have Jen back today as our November Guest Designer! Check out what she has created for us!

Hi there! I'm excited to be back with my second showing as Guest Designer here at Market Street Stamps! I wanted to make some Christmas cards but when I looked through my MSS collection it turned out I only had one Christmas set, Prancer, which I last used here. I decided that this was a good opportunity to "stretch my stamps". I'd use the sentiment from Prancer but I'd try and use non-Chrismas images to make the rest my cards.

For my first card I used the outline triangles from Nuts About Nature. I stamped them onto patterned paper, fussy cut them and made a little forest. The border along the bottom is from Great Big Greetings and the star is from Blast Off (now retired).

For my second card I went for a simple, graphic design using the chevron from Riding By in red and greens. A one layer card perfect for mailing! Isn't it fabulous how versatile these stamps are?

Thank you so much for being our guest this month, Jen!

Summertime Music :: Julie Day

Hello everyone! Julie's on the blog today with a wonderfully colorful "anyday" card!
This summery CAS (Clean and Simple) card featuring Vintage Music and a sentiment from Riding By can be created with some water-based markers and spritzing just a slight mist of water on the stamp before making the impression or "huffing" on the stamp to create the slightest bit of condensation to reactivate the marker ink.

Be sure to head over to Julie's Blog to read a little more about her card today!
Enjoy your Day!

Inspiration Week :: Scor-Pal & Market Street Stamps :: Day 5

Good Morning Everyone,
 HAPPY FRIDAY!
I can't believe we're already wrapping up our last day of Scor-Pal and Market Street Stamps inspiration. I think both teams outdid themselves and created wonderful projects that you could use for so many occasions!

Today's projects are from

&

After you visit us here today, don't forget to stop by the
to see what their team has for you today!

Tifany DeGough
I love how the space between the lines varies in the bottom corner. Tifany creased into her cards using both the 1/4" and 1/8" increments on the Scor-Buddy and it created both a place to ground her sentiment and texture! She used the stars from Blast Off and a sentiment from Simple Salutations to create her focal point.

Samantha really put her Scor-Buddy to good use! She created such a fun notecard ensemble, complete with a box to hold the cards in. The stamps are from the fabulous Riding By set (illustrated by her)!

Aren't they awesome? Don't forget to check out all the inspiration from this week on our blog!
Next week, we have a fun little giveaway that starts SUNDAY in honor of EARTH DAY so don't miss it!

Have a wonderful weekend, guys!

DESIGN TEAM SAMPLES
Amy Kolling: Amy's vibrant clean and simple card is perfectly accented with a button, chevron element and sentiment from Riding By!

Brenda Weaver: Brenda's simply stamped bicycle looks lovely against the distressed brights in the pattern paper she used!

Samantha Casey: I love the bright colors Sam used to highlight her adorable bicycle! She has created SUCH a wonderful assortment of elements and images for us this month, I am SO glad we can finally show them to you all!

DoBea Alberts: DoBea's sweet, feminine card has all the beautiful colors of SPRING! Just looking at it makes me anxious for those first Spring bulbs to sprout!

Jen del Muro: I adore the metal accents Jen used on her card, they really tie into her beautiful coloring and remind me of the chrome on the wheels!

Stephanie Washburn: Elegant as always, I love the peek-a-boo panel Stephanie created for the bicycle! That silver emboss on kraft?! Be still my heart...

Stephanie Muzzulin: Stephanie always finds the BEST pattern papers to go along with our stamp themes, and this is no exception! Love the pretty pink twine against the blue!

Stephanie Muzzulin: I really enjoy coloring, but sometimes I need to make a card quickly, or I already have too many colors going on in my design, so I LOVE when our designers also show us examples of straight up stamping and beautiful design as Stephanie has done here. You can use our stamps anywhere!

Brenda Weaver: This color scheme is one of my all time favorites! I also love the way Brenda's highlighted her focal point by stamping the "Neighborhood" stamp in a warm gray and then adding a paper-pieced house with a dimensional adhesive to literally make it "pop" off the page! Gorgeous!

Samantha Casey: Samantha continued her bright color theme throughout all of her creations and I love the scallops on the bottom of this card! It plays so well against the roofs int he tall houses!

That's all for tonight - be sure to visit each of our designers blogs to increase YOUR chances to win one of these sets! Thanks so much for coming by tonight!! - Angelica & the MSS Crew
